Samsung offers a lot of great options in LED TVs. But let’s face it – few of us can just go out and buy whatever we want. We have to balance our wants with what’s available, how much it costs, and how much we can realistically afford to pay. So take a look at the realatively moderately priced Samsung UN46B6000 46 LED TV, which offers many of the features of the larger and/or higher series Samsungs in a compact, less expensive, yet still very impressive package.
A set this thin looks just unbelievable mounted on a wall, but when you see the cool circular transparent plastic rotating stalk that functions as a stand, you just might decide to forgo the wall mount. The set is finished in black plastic which gradually blends with red near the edge and then finally ends up with a clear surround – hence the “Touch of Red” description.
This Samsung 46″ LED TV is just 1.2 inches deep. As you might expect, the LEDs are the reason. Compact to start with when compared to the CCFL backlights of conventional LCDs, their location around the perimeter of the screen allows for an almost unbelievably slim profile. The Auto Motion Plus frame interpolation technology incorporates a 120Hz refresh rate that helps ensure crisp, easy viewing of fast movement action.
